Important Note About Preferences:

Preferences are Show-Based.
Changing Preferences Affects All Users.

 

 

General Preferences 

• Startup Mode – Sets which module Plumber will start up in.
• Feedback Level – Sets the amount of text feedback Plumber returns in the Script Editor.  High is recommended for new users and for troubleshooting.
• Plablast Mode– Sets the way Blasts get saved and played -- Movies or Image Sequences.
• Feedback Level – Sets the amount of text feedback Plumber returns in the Script Editor.  High is recommended for new users and for troubleshooting.

Common Action Buttons

• Apply and Quit - Backs up the current Plumber Preferences Settings and then writes out the Preferences as set within the Preferences UI for General, Shot and Asset Preferences. No changes of ANY short occurs to the Preferences unless Apply and Quit or Revert is pressed.
• Revert - Restores the most recently backed up Plumber Preferences Settings as the current Preferences settings.
• Defaults - Restores the Preferences settings to the intial default settings.
• X - The [X] in the upper right corner of the UI window acts as the Cancel option. If you make ANY changes in the Preferences UI, they will not take effect unless the Apply and Quit or Revert buttons are pressed.
